At Clarlen, we are always learning and growing, and our program changes along with us. Still, traditions have emerged!
Each project is fun and purposeful, but some become favorites.
Each year, the 4 year old class prepares a special program that we perform in the Sanctuary upstairs for parents and friends.
In March, Clarlen Nursery invites the community to a "touch-a-truck" event.

Throughout the year, each class has special visitors to supplement our curriculum.
Field trips provide hand-on application of the things we learn about.
Large motor movement is built in to the program, and a couple times a year we dedicate the day to learning new ways to move our bodies.
Outdoor play is a regular part of our day, but somedays we plan "Outdoor Days" with special activities.
At their Bridging Ceremony, the 4s perform a MayPole Dance.
